Has God Anything to Say?

This is the way, walk in it  ... 

Isaiah 30:21

Some think that God has something to say, but that was in the past.  Our age today, so they say, is one of the scientific advancement and intellectual enlightenment.  These people recognize God's existence, but they're not convinced that God really has something to say about our lives today.

God has something to say about our lives today.  We just can't hear Him.  Amid stress and strain we fail to look to Him for divine guidance and counsel.  God has spoken to us through Jesus Christ.  In the person of His Son, God says, "I love you and want to have fellowship with you."  In His written Word, the Bible, God has provided the guidelines we so desperately need to live purposeful, meaningful lives.

When you follow the directions in God's textbook for living you'll find joy and happiness - not an end in themselves but the product of being rightly related to God through His Son Jesus Christ.

@Today Can Be Different

You may feel bound and determined to say something that is on your mind. The person who needs to hear your message will listen; you are certain of it. Listening alone, though, does not guarantee agreement. Before you go spilling your soul to someone make sure you know where that person stands. If you reveal too much, Taurus, you may weaken your position or create an unintended and unexpected conflict. Your peace of mind is always important, but right now it is especially important. Steer clear of hot topics and don't push anyone's buttons. In a day or two it will be safer to bring up volatile subjects.
