Let Us Go On

Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.

Hebrews 9:28

The writer of the book of Hebrews gives us the following three guidelines for overcoming discouragement and weariness:

• Guideline 1: "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith" (Hebrews 10:22). Got troubles, pain, or misunderstanding? Then beat a path to the throne of grace and tell God how you feel.
• Guideline 2: "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 10:23). Hold on tenaciously to the promises of God. Don't let anyone talk you out of them.
• Guideline 3: "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25). When people become isolated from each other, it's like taking a burning piece of wood from the fire: the fire in the wood begins to go out.  We need each other for encouragement, for strength, for help.

Study Hebrews 10 and keep on going in life.

@Tomorrow Can Be Beautiful

A deadline is fast-approaching for a creative venture. This may be something that is already in progress, but more likely it is something new that you haven't yet launched. The time is ripe for beginning something that challenges you creatively, and that allows you to use your imagination at full force. Don't be limited or intimidated into doing something that others might consider outrageous. The more creative you can be right now, the more successful your project will become. Let your mind flow to places you don't usually go.
