Today's Inspiration: Through the Trials

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you....   
Deuteronomy 31:6 NASB

Trials do not mean that God has singled you out for special punishment, or that you're not a victorious Christian. Trials happen, and God promises to be with you when they do.
Here are some observations about the deep waters through which you may pass:

• Trials never leave you where they find you. Like a whirlwind that picks up an object, when you finally hit the ground you are not in the same place; you're not even the same person.
• Trials will cause you to grow better or bitter, depending on what you're made of.
• Trials could promote growth and maturity.
• Trials are of limited duration. No matter how deep the water, eventually God will lead you to the other side.
• Trials could lead you to know His presence and power that you otherwise would never experienced.

Don't curse your trials; realize God is with you through them. His presence will make a difference.

A tough message may seem hard to convey, Taurus, and you may be dreading delivering it to a certain person, even though you must. And you are right; it would be a hard message to deliver if you don't dilute it first. You can tell the truth without being harsh or judgmental. You can assume that something good will come of it, and you can give this person hope and encouragement in the process. But if you approach it with apprehension, your nervousness will be apparent. Offer the truth with some candy coating.
