Turn the other cheek. We were given such advice when we were younger when dealing with certain challenging or confrontational situations. It's not entirely inaccurate or unhelpful advice, either. But we must trust our intuition implicitly if it tells us that we need to let something 'bounce' off us or refuse to take it to heart. Trust your intuition if it advises you to do that now.

I’m old enough to remember when CDs first came out, and how we were told the days of listening to music without a song skipping were over? I know I wasn't alone with sticking a penny to the stylus of my record player to stop the needle from jumping due to record defects. Although CDs were just as prone to doing something similar, one thorough wipe with a cloth often solved the problem. Similarly, you can take effective action to stop at an unfounded worry from playing over and over in your mind!
