“Lesson Learned”
Ghost Hunting turned Ghost Haunting: The Continuation
(Shared by Cecille Gesulga <cece.gesulga@gmail.com>)
There were actually quite a number of us but as what I have told in the first part of this exposition, only six boys and seven girls were “brave” enough to sit in the circle to call out for “lost” souls. That makes thirteen of us all in all. The rest of the gang who were dubbed as “killjoys” preferred to stay at the school grounds while waiting for us and just enjoy the loud music that is being played as the sound system for the Senior’s party the following day is being set-up.Our classroom were we held the ritual was the farthest room from across the second floor hallway of the old school building overlooking a large, ancient Acacia tree. For us to be able to discreetly accomplish our plan for the night, we made sure that all the lights in the building were already turned off. The rest of the room was pitch-black and was lit only by a single flashlight whose headlight was turned upside down on the floor so as to not attract attention. The glowing red ream of the light acted as the center piece for our circle formation.
As we “entered” the world of the unknown thru the circle and the calling, we were not aware that we “literally” entered a domain that is different from ours. In there, there was April and our friend Rachel was gone. There we need not to look for spirits astray, we were the ones who lost ourselves… As the said possession of our friend continued, we were totally unconscious of the outside world.
We were not certain of many things that night. Like for how long we really stayed in that room and what happened to Rachel after that serious incident. All we remembered was the sight and sound of her and our silent to strident cries as we watch her suffer. Our pre-occupation of her possession was broken by a loud, sudden thud by the door. We saw two older guys striving to get up from the floor in front of our classroom door. It’s as if they have been thrown or have hit something solid like a wall or a closed door. But here’s the thing…We made sure that we have blocked the door open with a heavy chair for we were afraid to be locked up inside the room.
The next thing we know was that they were at the actual scene followed by one of the school guards and another random guy. The guard tried to calm us down and instructed us to leave the room while the three other men aided Rachel. We were too caught in the moment that we did not leave the room at once. We still witnessed when one of the guys pulled out a rosary and held it against Rachel’s body. We saw how she reacted to it… She have gone even wilder, was able to get a grip of the beaded item and tore it apart. At that point, the also shocked guard pulled us girls out of the classroom and escorted us downstairs.
There we were welcomed by the just as frightened faces of the rest of our friends who preferred to just wait for us outside. Only then did we knew that we inside the room were not the only ones who experienced the horrors and terrors of that night. More to our surprise, they narrated that we have spent almost three hours in that classroom and that we were not responding to any of their calls that is why they were forced to call for help. They even claimed to have seen a number of people waving at them from the windows of our room. But we were certain that none of us have left the circle all the while.
We started the said “game” at 7:00 in the evening and ended at past 9:00. Honestly, I still cannot believe that we stayed there that long. It felt like it was just a couple of minutes. Things happened so fast. Only then did we realize the true extent of what we did. It’s as if we entered a different realm that challenged time and space. Every one of us in the room also vouched to have not heard any of their attempts to reach us or even the loud music that was being played outside until that collision over the room’s door. They said that they were trying to contact us through our cellphones for they were too scared to go up and fetch us themselves. When none of us answered any of the calls in the first two hours, they literally called and shouted to us but none of us answered although they saw a number of people standing by the windows.
We were escorted home and had our parents called to the principal and guidance office first thing that Monday morning. Rachel was not able to go to school for a week or so. We were not sure how they pacified her and how she was brought to the hospital that night. Our group also refrained from seriously talking about the incident after our parents took us to a pastor for a pray over. We had more than the dose of fun and fright that we were looking for and learned the lesson that we ought to remember in our classroom… Impossible but it happened to me!

Prepare a prayer before doing that one..
Yes prayers are powerful but better not engage in such things...
Just like other things in life, spirits must be treated with respect.
