Walk, Stand, Sit

    Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. - - - Psalm 1:1

Is there anything new under the sun?  Emotions that motivate people today are same as those centuries ago.  Greed, sex, lust for power and pride still get people into trouble today.
There is an infinite variety of ways to go wrong and usually only one way to go right.  Our mistakes and failures are compounded, but most of the time they stem from one basic mistake - a situation or relationship we knew wasn’t good.
Psalm 1:1 says, Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.”  This describes the progression we often make toward wrong choices.
But the psalmist offers a better way.  He says blessed is he whose “delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.  He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither” (Psalm 1:2-3).
It’s never too late to turn back and realize you missed the right road.  It’s a decision wise people still make.

You are wrangling with someone who is an amazing charmer. You may not realize it though, Taurus. That's the thing about charismatic people... they put you under their spell, and you haven't a clue what's happening. Part of the approach may involve flattery, or the offer of something big and distant that you really want. In other words, the promise of a huge opportunity could sway you away from your common sense or your better judgment. So before you take any plunges or leaps of faith, make sure you know where you're leaping, even if you don't feel the need to.
