Places I Would Like To See Before I Die - The Enchanting Silence (1/8)

The Enchanting Silence is composed of 8 places on earth where I can void my mind of all thoughts, just concentrating on feeling, seeing and hearing the immensity of nature in a single moment….. an ABSOLUTE BLISS! My heart, my mind, my spirit, and my soul are all in harmony…… feels like soaring to heaven! 

The Absolute Silence of the Doubtful Sound, known as the “Sound of Silence”, is the deepest of New Zealand’s fiords at 421 meters (1,380 feet).  It is one of the world’s most magical and isolated places.  Its isolation makes the fiord a very special place, a place for unique adventurers only.

The journey to Doubtful Sound is one of a kind.  There are only two boats that operate in this place, and when the captain cuts the engine, one is surrounded by nature that’s primeval in its beauty, enveloped in a silence that feels millennia-old. Precipice Cove, where the boats generally anchor overnight, has to be one of the quietest places on earth.

Doubtful Sound is home to a range of native wildlife; the tui, bottle-nosed dolphins, little blue penguins, Fiordland crested penguins and even a Wapiti or red deer can be seen on the shores of the many hidden inlets.

After immersing myself into this vast and untouched wilderness, where will I go next?
