Actions will always speak louder than words. We could make every claim or promise in the world, but until somebody sees a willingness on our part to do what we say, they've no reason to believe we mean it. If there's somebody you feel you must influence or win over, then talking with them will help to a point. Try showing them what you need them to know instead. Your actions will impress.
