LEDO - Live Everyday Die Once

LEDO ia journal of the "everyday of everything" in my life that is worth remembering...
to remind me that each new day is a chance to explore new things, to enjoy life, and to thank God!
I always believe that we live everyday and we die once...
đź’–Bible Verseđź’–
I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
- - - John 10:16, NIV
đź’–Prayerđź’–
Lord our God, bring us together as one. Give us your Spirit so that we may know you, so that joy may fill our hearts, not only for ourselves but also for others. Root out evil from the earth. Sweep away all that offends you, all lying, deceit, and hate between nations. Grant that all people may come to know you, so that disunity and conflict may be swept away and your eternal kingdom may arise on earth and we may rejoice in it. For your kingdom can come to people even while on earth to bring them happiness and to make them your own children. Yes, Lord God, we want to be your children, your people, held in your hand, so that your name may be honored, your kingdom may come, and your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.
We've all received, in our time, a gift from somebody that we had no idea if we'd ever have a use for. So, we kept the gift, more out of courtesy than anything else. Then, further down the road, we discovered what we were given can be helpful or useful. That could be a situation you find yourself in now, especially where an opportunity presented to you not long ago is concerned. It may have appeared irrelevant back then. It seems to be worth looking more closely at now.

Here's an analogy for you. Let's pretend you're baking a cake. You get the cake's ingredients together perfectly and stick it in the oven. While it's cooking, you believe it makes sense to focus time and effort on making icing. But you become so engrossed with doing that that you forget all about the cake and it burns. That's a good example of applying what you believe to be logical effort elsewhere when something happening here and now may need more attention above what you feel is necessary.
