My ‘Out-of-this-World’ Experience - Season 2

Have you ever had experience a phenomenon that cannot be explained no matter how you tried to understand it?  Are you familiar with the phrase ‘beyond one’s imagination or understanding’?  If you have this some sort of experience that makes you feel that hair-raising/eerie or déjà vu feeling, please share through email message to merlinagp@gmail.com.  It is my pleasure to post your experience in this Blog.  Let the circle of sharing begins.

Birthday happens once a year and that day is your most important and memorable experience annually. And one of my birthdays is my not so enjoyable but still as memorable… I am referring to what was then my 7th birthday.

My family prepared me a children’s party on my 7th birthday. And our neighbors, neighbors’ kids, my uncles, aunties, and cousins were all invited to the said event. The program started with party games, magic show, of course with clowns and lastly the blowing of candle.

I have just like some other kids, this irrational fear of what seemed unusual or other “eerie” stuff like dolls or so. That time, I had to bear for the duration of my whole party, the sight of the two clowns that were supposed to bring me joy instead of scare.

That same night on my birthday, I had to spend even in sleep the fearful sight of clowns present in my nightmare. That was the birthday I can never forget. Other than the memorable time of bidding goodbye to being a toddler and spending time with the dearest people in my life as a kid, I also came to realize some of my life’s fears. That is for one… Clowns!

Impossible but it happened to me!

True that! It also gives me this weird feeling seeing faces with the traditional clown makeup, wearing colorful wigs and costumes, and try to make you smile with their gimmicks, looking straight to your eyes! #KeepWriting #KeepSeries

I have so many friends that has fear with clowns. For me the reason why so many fear clowns is clown have unnatural, large, exaggerated and distorted features and therefore don’t match the ‘safe, friendly human’ pattern we have created in our minds.

Its scary for most kids and it is not a laughing matter. Clowns are highly unpredictable as well as mischievous, which puts people on edge.

I was once of those kids who became scared of clowns when I was young. Creepy experience.
