My ‘Out-of-this-World’ Experience - Season 2

Have you ever had experience a phenomenon that cannot be explained no matter how you tried to understand it?  Are you familiar with the phrase ‘beyond one’s imagination or understanding’?  If you have this some sort of experience that makes you feel that hair-raising/eerie or déjà vu feeling, please share through email message to merlinagp@gmail.com.  It is my pleasure to post your experience in this Blog.  Let the circle of sharing begins.
NIKO

Did you ever believe that you can talk to someone who already passed away?
When someone special in our life or related to us pass away, it's not as easy as picking up the phone.  But somehow, we imagine or hope that we could still talk to them again for the last time, to say words that we weren’t able to tell them when they were alive.  You can also imagine what they would say in reply to what you said to them.
This experience of mine happened when I was just a new employee.  On the first few weeks of my work, I heard lots of rumors about some weird presence that’s been going on around the office especially late at night.  It is said that some computers opens by itself and as if someone is typing, footsteps heard walking and even running around the hallway and at times, someone will be heard crying even if there was no one else around.  They say that these are some of the very “common” scenarios based on the stories I heard.  But I was not bothered by it all because I believe that it’s just mainly imagination playing the mind of a person.
But there was this time when some of my senior officemates decided to stay in the office overnight and they ask me if I could also stay with them so I decided to stay too.  I remembered it was pass 10:00 PM that night while in front of my computer, I felt that my eyes were so tired.  I decided to just go home instead.  When I got myself up, some lights were already turned off and I saw my officemates sleeping by their own tables.  Before heading home, I decided to go pee at the comfort room first but even before I got inside, I heard that someone was crying.  It was like a voice of a man crying inside.  I wasn’t that afraid but when I opened the lights to see who was inside there was apparently no one.  I thought that maybe I was just tired, that was why I was hearing things.
After that, I saw an image of a tall man… I cannot clearly see his face because he was standing with his back by the mirror from the entrance of the restroom.  I tried to notice him but before I even said anything, he left.  So instinctively, I followed him but when I got out, he was gone.  I did not even saw him or any trace of him from the hallway.  It was really weird for I didn’t even know who it was.  When I went back to our workstation, I saw all lights were already turned off from the right side of our division office and when I entered through the glass door, I noticed that my officemates were still there sleeping.  Before I tried to wake them up to let them know I was leaving, a computer suddenly opened in the dark corner of the last cubicle on the right side from the glass door entrance.  At first I tried to ignore it but when I remembered that there was no computer designated on the said area, I curiously went to check it.  But before I got near the cubicles, that was when I heard that someone is typing on keyboards!  I suddenly stopped where I was standing because I was afraid I’ll be seeing something strange.  But slowly I tried to casually look and see it with my own eyes…  Who I saw was my brother-in-law!  He’s name was "Niko".  He died of diabetes.
He was peacefully typing something on a laptop with his headset like he was still working on something.  I knew he was dead but I saw him like a real and normal person so I went to approach him.  When I called him, he looked at me like he was surprised to see me and said “Uy kumusta?!” (Hey! How are you?!).  Then I said “Ito ok lang naman…  Bakit ka naman kasi umalis agad haDaya mo naman!” (“I’m fine… Why did you leave so soon?  That’s very unfair of you”.).  Then he replied, “Pasensya ka na ahSorry kung hindi kita nasabihan.  Ikaw na muna bahala sa pamilya ko.” (“Apologies… If I have not told you.  Look after my family”.).  I replied back and told him, “Ok lang naman sila…  Huwag ka mag-alala at hindi ko sila pababayaan pero sana bantayan mo din sila kung saan ka man pupunta, lalo na yung anak mo…  Miss na miss ka na ni Miguel”. – my nephew. (They are fine…  Don’t worry but wherever you are heading please also do look after your child…  Miguel misses you).  Then he just smiled at me and said "Thank you".  After that conversation, he tried to approach me but before he was near, my officemates woke me up telling me that they are all ready to leave!
Damn!  It was all just a dream!  I looked at my watch to see that it was just 10:00 PM.  So I packed all my things and we all left the office.  After that night I went to work the next day and coincidently that was how I happened to know that Niko, my brother-in-law also worked in the same department I was working.  And the exact place where I saw him in my dream was the same place they told me where he used to sit every day when he was alive and working.
That dream or more of an encounter for me, told me that you can still somehow talk to someone who already passed away, whether or not it was just recently.  Their spirits may somehow, some way may try to send a message to us or give us signs when they want our attention.  Although however, theoretically, the dead cannot talk to you.
At times especially when were alone, we talk aloud to someone who has passed away.  We expect but receive no responses but then it helps us to clarify our thoughts and feelings about the individual.  Believing they’ll be able to hear our thoughts somehow... I think even in your mind, they will hear you and at the same time, we can also listen to the things they are trying to say.
There is nothing wrong with talking to someone who has gone for the afterlife especially if it gives you comfort and helps you to cope better, then it’s all good!  Impossible but it happened to me!

When someone appears in your dream, it's because that person misses you.

I had such dreams as well but at times I cannot help but wonder if it is really their way of saying goodbye or our own way of dealing with the loss...
