My ‘Out-of-this-World’ Experience - Season 2

Have you ever had experience a phenomenon that cannot be explained no matter how you tried to understand it?  Are you familiar with the phrase ‘beyond one’s imagination or understanding’?  If you have this some sort of experience that makes you feel that hair-raising/eerie or déjà vu feeling, please share through email message to merlinagp@gmail.com.  It is my pleasure to post your experience in this Blog.  Let the circle of sharing begins.

THERE'S SOMEONE WAVING AT YOU

Every one of us have their own childhood stories that can either make you laugh or make you cry. However, there are a few of us that experienced something that will make people frightened when they hear them… This story is one of them.

The story happened when I was in Grade 3 at Pembo Elementary School. My classmate and I are looking forward to our night camp at our school. Almost everyone were pleasing their parents just to permit them to join the thrilling night camp together with their friends and other classmate. I was one of them. My father agreed for me to join the night camp but I would have to give him my pet “Falcon”, a chick that I caught in our province when I was a kid that turned into a chicken after I looked after it. I thought he was just testing my conviction but it turned out that Falcon will become our dinner that night. After that horrific incident with my pet that turned into sacrificial pawn, I got my parents to sign the authorization that will enable me to join my fellow classmate/scouts for this faithful night.

After I got my backpack full and was oriented on what to do and what I shouldn’t do, the teacher made us group ourselves on a random basis. I was disappointed because I was not grouped together with my friends but later was able to gain new friends after the camp night. When the night came, there was an activity wherein we would get the other groups flag for us to get a reward while the group that lost most of their flag will suffer a punishment. It made us all awake that night. Our group that was consisting of 20, decided to form a squad that will try to sneak the flag from the other team while the other 15 will have their alternate rest and will keep the flag safe. I was included on the group that will steal flags. I was also appointed as vice leader of our group. Our leader is the scout older than us which will guide and discipline us for the whole camp night. After 3 tries, our group (Tiger) got one of the enemy’s flag. We got the Bull’s group flag when we caught them snoring in the middle of the night.

However, when we were heading our way back to our camp, there was a scene that I will never forget. It was 2 in the morning when we are going back to our camp/base. There was a girl on the 3rd floor waving at our group. She was wearing white dress (daster) and her hair is all over her face as if it was purposely arranged to hide her identity. Her right hand was lift as if it was waving while her other hand was severed and lowered. There was no blood on her. The only creepy thing about her besides her arms and hands was her head. It was tilted on the right side while her hair was covering her face. There shouldn’t be someone on the three-storey building as we were only allowed to use the buildings that had only two floors.

I was the first one to notice her and the first thing I did was to tell the other four of our team. The other kid also saw what I saw which means I was clearly not imagining things. We called for our leader and he came on the same spot. We swore to him that there was someone waving at us from the third floor of the main building.

At first, we failed to see her again. However, as our leader turned his back to the spot where we saw the woman, she appeared again waving. Our leader while looking at us told us this… “I guessed she appeared again right?”. We just moved our heads in agreement and as he slowly turned his head to see her, our leader saw her before she vanished in thin air.

Because he was older than us and was tasked to guide us, he grouped us altogether and led a prayer. After the incident, he told our teacher about what we saw. When the morning came, we proceeded with the other things and activities that the teachers have set for us in camp. We lighted a bonfire on school grounds. We also conducted the presentation of our jingle. There was of course, an awarding… An award was given for those who got flags while the team that lost theirs will be conducting the punishment of a duck walk that morning. Everything else went well that day.

The day after the event there was these spooky haunting in school wherein a girl was said to be possessed by an evil spirit. She was restrained and was brought to the church nearby. I believe it was also caused by the girl we saw that night, the same spirit and I sure did hope that it will never bother or cause harm to other children in that school again.

Impossible but it happened to me!

Almost the same thing happened to me in high school.

I was a member of the school choir and we were requested to stay overnight so we can serenade early in the morning our then, City Mayor on his birthday since his house is near our school.

While spending the night in the school, we venture out and daring one another to go to the last floor, which is pretty scary. While, one guy tried to call the dare, we heard him running back to our room shouting bats... bats... we were laughing at him, and because of it, but then there were real bats following him so we decided to just stay in our designated room and tell scary stories.

The next day, after we resume our class, we were relieving our night in our computer lab., when one of my classmate suddenly became stiff and pale (she was with us that night), she said she is feeling very cold. Then our teacher came is the room and instantly hold her and said "alis" (out) our classmate looked a lot better after that, but then our teacher who is very thin collapsed.

Our males in our class (around 10) tried to lift her but they were shocked that they cannot lift her and that she was very heavy. A few more of us help (the females) them to lift her to the teachers table. After a while, the nurse came (she was called by one of our classmate) and then our teacher regain her consciousness, she asked us to pray and then told us that she took the spirit trying to possess our classmate.

Since then, I never agreed to stay overnight in that school, which was a small hospital/clinic before becoming a school. Additional info: the music room where our choir used to practice was previously the morgue!

Impossible but it happened to me!
