The "BAKIT" List

We are all familiar with the western term "Bucket List". This Blog will take this "Bucket List" to a different level, the Pinoy style aptly called the "BAKIT" List. This "BAKIT" List is a compilation of everyday questions that seemingly challenge our sanity.  Filipinos love to play with words, it’s part of our lives.
Let us fill the “BAKIT” List through email to merlinagp@gmail.com by sharing your everyday questions that start with BAKIT and its description. Please include also a short  answer to the question. Happy questioning and smart answering!!!

"BAKIT" List #13
"WHY" List #13

Why is it that when you’re already running late, Mr. Driver also “happens” to stop by all the intersections just to pick up more passengers even if his jeep is fully loaded???

Brief Description
Usual question/rant of rushing commuters in the Philippines toward jeepney drivers.

My Smart Answer
#paranoid
Because they feel like their jeepneys are SUPER huge that it would fit even up to ten people in a seat just made for seven... And it is as if these jeppney drivers have SUPER POWERS other than kili-kili power (body odor)! They can smell their passengers' fear... It's as if they are doing it deliberately because they know its already your 7th late for the month! So next time, ride early and beware… THE DRIVER KNOWS EVERYTHING! #paranoid
