My ‘Out-of-this-World’ Experience - Season 2

Have you ever had experience a phenomenon that cannot be explained no matter how you tried to understand it?  Are you familiar with the phrase ‘beyond one’s imagination or understanding’?  If you have this some sort of experience that makes you feel that hair-raising/eerie or déjà vu feeling, please share through email message to merlinagp@gmail.com.  It is my pleasure to post your experience in this Blog.  Let the circle of sharing begins.

MY NEPHEW'S ZOMBIE
Shared by Jayden V. Manumbale for Team 'La Familia Longganisa'
Most of the things/elements that surrounds us in our daily life are invisible to our naked eye, not unless you open the right eye to see it.  With the exception to paranormal experts or those with acquired or open third eyes, it is widely believed that most of the supernatural things can be seen by children and animals.  Some people even say that an animals or infant’s eyes are so pure and innocent that they can see things we often refuse to see.  With this thought in mind, let me share you a story that will make your blood shiver and be wary to those things that can only be seen by those adorable children.
The story is about my cute pamangkin (nephew) named Elijah Gabriel or Elai for short.  Elai is my 2 year old nephew, who is also the prime suspect of misdeeds in the house because of his “kakulitan” (rowdiness).  Some of his misdeeds are that he would always put his toys all over the floor whenever my Mom (his grandmother) is cleaning, he has already thrown two mobile phones out through the window, and he will always answer you “utot” or fart with a big naughty smile on his face whenever you ask him anything.  Even with all these “kakulitan”, we just can’t help ourselves to love him dearly because of his smile and “panlalambing” or sweet gestures (most of the time when you have food).  Truly, Elai and my other pamangkin Cedric are gifts from heaven to our family especially to my Mother and Father.  Since they came in our life, our family and the mood in the house has lightened up and we will frequently go for a family bonding every weekend.  However, there were incidents that frightens all of us whenever we are with Elai.  This was when he began seeing things he is not supposed to see.
The said incident started when his mother, Ate Ana gave pasalubong (gift) to Baby Elai one Saturday evening in our house.  Usually, the kid is very enthusiastic to receive any toy from his mother.  It is very unusual for him not to give any response especially towards his mother so she begun to talk to him.  Elai still paid attention and gave no response and somewhat is being bothered with “something” behind his mother.  As I clearly remember, from where her mother was standing, the window was right behind her but there is a certain gap between Ate Ana and the said window.  As his mother began closing the curtains by the window behind her, he reluctantly looked through her and begun saying the word “Zombie”.  We knew since we were still kids that there are some elements lurking behind our house because of its creepy ambiance. We were astounded as his mother cried while saying “Don’t look at him Anak (child)!”, but the kid persistently kept moving his head towards the direction of the window as if he can’t miss a single glimpse on that thing/being behind his mother.
That night, my nephew slept with her Aunt (my sister) together with his Mom after we taught them to say a prayer.  The next incident that followed was when my nephew was energetically running around the house and then suddenly he began to run to us while pointing to the stairs as if someone was there.  He then begun saying “Zombie Akyat (go up)!”.  We were again shocked as the first incident and we remembered that we prepared some “Atang” (offering for the dead) for our deceased grandfather upstairs that night.  Elai, even in his young age, is already familiar with what a zombie is supposed to look like because few months before such incidents, he caught a glimpse of zombie movie and we explained to him the meaning of the term because prior, he just kept on saying “Wawa” while referring to such fictional creatures.
After the second incident, the kid oddly got sick and we chose to offer prayers particularly on that same spot by the window located on the rear side of our house.  We did and believed so because it seemed impossible for him to see another person outside of that window because although outside was a vacant lot where large trees was once located, we and that particular window was at the second floor of the house! And the house next to us which is usually empty was just a one-floor structure that surely was not on any form of repair or renovation so it is very unlikely for him to see anyone from there.
Hopefully, the prayers and other offering given are enough to please the “Zombies” roaming around our house to no longer bother the kids and give fright to the adults.

Impossible but it happened to us!
