Sampayan (Sam-pa-yan) is a Filipino word for clothesline, where clothing that had recently been washed are hung along the line to dry, using clothes pegs. Merlina's Sampayan is my blog all about my LIKES and DISLIKES. It features my experiences in life, craziness and foolishness, dreams and fantasies, aspirations and frustrations, happiness and sadness, success and failures, memorable moments, wonders of discovery, thrills, and entertainments. Let's hang-out together in my Sampayan!

This is my favourite post! The message is very reassuring and real for me. My experience of losing my best friend because of COVID-19 made me feel devastated. However similar to this quote, his departure was then met by the arrival of new friends several months later from an online event I partook in.
The interpretation may not be romantic and more on the grimmer side of things, but I believe it still applies very well in my past situation!
