My ‘Out-of-this-World’ Experience No. 1

Have you ever had experience a phenomenon that cannot be explained no matter how you tried to understand it?  Are you familiar with the phrase ‘beyond one’s imagination or understanding’?  If you have this some sort of experience that makes you feel that hair-raising/eerie or déjà vu feeling, please share through email message to merlinagp@gmail.com.  It is my pleasure to post your experience in this Blog.  Let the circle of sharing begins.

Experience No. 1: The DREAM
(shared by CliquishlyCutieMe at merlinagp@gmail.com)
I was in my 4th Year College when this extraordinary event happened to me.  I had just transferred to a new boarding house.  I arrived late in the night when my roommates were all ready to go to bed.  There were 6 of us in the room and we were introduced briefly by our Landlady.  I proceeded with unpacking my luggage while my roommates were already lying in their beds and almost sleeping.  Finishing my bedtime rituals after unpacking, I sleep soundly.
The next morning, while attending to our daily needs, one of my roommates asked me my name.  I told her my name.  As if trying to remember something, she was very sure that she had heard my name before.  And she recounted that it was in her dream last night that she encountered my name.  She further related that in her dream my Father was requesting her to tell Merlina (that's my name) to send him his favorite shirt through my Grandmother.  True enough, I had his favorite shirt but I told her that I couldn’t give it to him since my Father is already dead.  After hearing this, she almost fell to the floor.
I almost forgot about the DREAM , but after two days, I got a long-distance call from my hometown informing me that my Grandmother just died.   It was my turn to almost fell to the floor.  And so I hurried home, rummaged my things to find my Father’s favorite maroon shirt, went to my Grandmother’s wake, opened the coffin, placed the shirt beside her, and requested my Grandmother to bring the shirt as requested by my Father!
Until this day, I can’t still explain this episode in my life.  As the saying goes ‘Impossible but It Happened to Me’!

Strange and truly inexplicable. Yet, it is also comforting to know that our dearly departed can connect with us through other means even after they're gone. They can still manage to send their message across and make their presence felt from an entirely different dimension.
