LEDO is a journal of the "everyday of everything" in my life that is worth remembering ...... to remind me that each new day is a chance to explore new things, to enjoy life, and to thank God! I always believe that we live everyday and we die once!

Proudest Momsie!
Day 23 of 2016
I woke-up this morning feeling well rested and refreshed,
ready to face the day. As I hurdled through lunch, I chanced to browse Facebook.
And, Lo and Behold! I saw the
news, which was already shared by some of my friends:
Garrido overall winner in Macau
Joaquin
“Wakkeen” Garrido is the son of my first-born, Jerome. Thus, making me his proud Momsie!!! Wakkeen is still very young at his tender
age; he just turned 10 this January. As
a Grade 5 student, he is supposedly still playing with his toy cars, but instead,
he is driving now a fast kart and a Mini Rok.
I went to see him race on May 11, 2014… he was just starting to officially join the race. And since then, he had gone a
long way. That was the first and for now, the only race
I have ever seen personally. I can’t
stand to see how fast those little boys are driving in a challenging racetrack. I might get a heart attack, especially that I
am aware that one of those little boys is my grandson.
Pictures I got from the one and only race I watched:
My dilemma now is what to bring him home as ‘pasalubong’
whenever I go traveling. I
remember then that whenever I travel, I always see to it that I brought him one
or two cars to add to his collections.

This is his car collections.…. Photo taken by his Mom,

And I am still in quandary if I am going to see him in his
another race, here or abroad!?
To know more about his Karting adventures, please visit his
page at https://www.facebook.com/wakkeen/. May I also request your support by LIKING his
Facebook page? Thank you and see you in
the racetrack :0
