View from the Side: Phantom of the Opera
Day 10 of 2016
After watching the broadway show in different locations, I can now conclude that the Phantom in Manila is still the best. I was pondering what made the Manila a better one. I came to a single reason…. because of a marketing strategy. Since the Manila is a special show and off the broadway, the production should be better if not best in all aspects (stage, sounds, the cast) to lure the audience to see the real broadway shows either in London or in New York.
My analogy is the same as the one I experienced in buying those small plastic packages of shampoo/conditioner. I am always satisfied with the use of these small packages but whenever I bought them in big bottles, I never get the same quality compared to the small packages. Again, the marketing strategy at works here is that to keep you satisfied with your first purchase that will make you buy in bigger quantities.
