Which of Us, O Lord, Shall be Sovereign? (2)

Then the Lord will appear over them; His arrow will flash the lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; He will march in the storms of the south   ... 

Zechariah 9:14

God is sovereign, and what He wills is absolute. If God is sovereign, and I am His child, what are the benefits of knowing what He rules the day?

• Benefit 1: The responsibility for running the world has been lifted from my shoulders.
• Benefit 2: Wholeness and peace become my inheritance. I may not understand  everything God does, but I can rest in the confidence that He is in control
• Benefit 3: God's sovereignty gives me a sense of security both spiritually and emotionally.
• Benefit 4: God's sovereignty gives me confidence when I pray. He sorts out the dumb things I ask for and only gives me what I really need, because of His great love for me as His child.

@Tomorrow Can Be Beautiful

A deadline is fast-approaching for a creative venture. This may be something that is already in progress, but more likely it is something new that you haven't yet launched. The time is ripe for beginning something that challenges you creatively, and that allows you to use your imagination at full force. Don't be limited or intimidated into doing something that others might consider outrageous. The more creative you can be right now, the more successful your project will become. Let your mind flow to places you don't usually go.
