Today's Inspiration: Meet Mr. Peter
As I think of Peter, I think of his four qualities: (1) He was a man of action. He never hesitated; (2) Peter was a man of commitment and loyalty; (3) Peter was a man of courage; and (4) He was a man of conviction.
"I say You are the Son of God!" shouts Peter as he waves his fist in the air to drive home his point. According to tradition Peter requested that he be crucified upside down, because he did not deem himself worthy to die as his Lord had died.
Peter was a changed individual, his forceful character found expression in a different cause, that of changing world. The God who changed his life is still in the business of changing people.

If you have been feeling neglected or under-appreciated by those who are closest to you or even by a boss or co-worker, don't feel glum or gloomy - just do something about it. This is a day to show off what makes you so special. Don't be afraid to blow your own horn as you display your special knowledge, talents, and skills. People will take notice if you aren't afraid to be somewhat less than humble. It never hurts to remind others why you're an important part of the group.
