Today's Inspiration: Passing Through Deep Waters
In chapter 43, Isaiah recorded words that still bring a great deal of comfort. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you."
God says, "I will be with you," and those five words should make all the difference in the world. And if that's not enough, they're followed by two other statements. God say, "You are honored, and I love you" (Isaiah 43:4).
Wow! That's good news! We could only face all the battles of life victoriously with the certainty that He is with us.

A lot of folks --- maybe you're included --- can accept the fact that God is a God of concern, but they wonder how much of the time He's in control. They can accept, "If it's good, it must be of God!" but they also reason, "If times are tough, I must have missed God somewhere!"In chapter 43, Isaiah recorded words that still bring a great deal of comfort. You may be intent on figuring someone out right now. This may be someone new who has entered your social life through mutual friends or some other connection. It may be someone you have just been formally introduced to after being in their presence in the past. Either way, this person could be quite interesting and intriguing. But rather than playing a guessing game or trying to base assumptions on your observations, just relax and get to know this person in a natural way. There is much to discover - all of it positive.
