Adventure Exploit of World’s Famous Cities

Venice is one of the fascinating places where I would want to be delightfully lost...... I would love to just wander and wonder! No  matter  where one   goes, there is always beauty, romance, history, scenic and wonderful views, and magnificent and stunning architectural masterpieces. The whole city together with its lagoon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Eight (8) things I would like to do in Venice:

   1 Explore the 118 small islands through the picturesque and mysterious passageways.

   2 Rediscover romance along the Grand  Canal by taking a moonlit gondola ride.

   3 Stand in the middle of the splendid St. Mark’s Square and gaze at  St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace (once a political and judicial hub), and Torre dell’ Orologio (an ancient clock tower).

   4 Sneak on a Venetian costume with a stunning mask and join the Carnevale, the world’s largest and famous masked ball.

   5 Take an evening aperitivi at a Grand Canal-facing table.

   6 Attend the Venice International Film Festival, the oldest in the world.

   7 Get a unique souvenir from a tailors’ workshop at Casa di Reclusione Femminile, a women’s prison producing rare fashion items with high quality.

   8 Satisfy my curiosity of sea creatures that swims in the lagoon by trying to eat  granseola (spider crab), garusoli (sea snails), canoce (mantis shrimps). Accordingly, trying ‘la cucina veneta’ requires strong will and desire.
Venice has many wonderful things to offer. I want to stay there longer but I can't since there are more fascinating places to explore and discover. My next destinations are places on earth where I believe that I can rediscover my sweet and romantic nature: "My Idea of Heaven"..... excited to share with you these places!
