- Nirvana was formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. It is an American rock band that developed a sound that relied on dynamic contrasts, often between quiet verses and loud, heavy choruses. Nirvana popularized alternative rock as a whole, and Cobain was referred to in the media as the "spokesman of a generation”. The band had sold more than 25 million records in the United States alone, and over 75 million records worldwide.
- Red Hot Chili Peppers was founded by Anthony Kiedes (vocals) and Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass). It is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. The band’s style is primarily funk with some elements from other genres such as hip hop, punk rock, and psychedelic rock. Notable about the band is that they embraced the sexual hedonism that powered the earlier acts of rock and roll, bringing that lascivious spirit to the modern age. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have won seven Grammy Awards and sold over 85 million albums worldwide, and recently had been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- U2 was formed in 1976. It is an Irish rock band from Dublin. The group consists of Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards and vocals), Adam Clayton(bass guitar), and Larry Mullen, Jr. (drums and percussion). U2's style is a mixed of dance, industrial, and alternative rock. It embraced a more ironic and self-deprecating image. Their songs are often exaggerates spiritual imagery, focus on personal themes and socio-political concerns. The band won 22 Grammy Awards, more than any other band, and in 2005, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility. Throughout their career, as a band and as individuals, they have campaigned for human rights and philanthropic causes, including Amnesty International, the ONE/DATA campaigns, Product Red, and The Edge's Music Rising.
- Pearl Jam is an American rock band that was formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. Its singer Eddie Vedder is a lethal combination of manly good looks, socially-conscious lyricist and volcanic vocalist. Pearl Jam’s brand of heavy, melodic rock encompasses sensitive ballads and enraged protest songs. Over the course of the band's career, its members became noted for their refusal to adhere to traditional music industry practices, including refusing to make music videos and engaging in a much-publicized boycott of Ticketmaster. The band has sold over 31.5 million records in the U.S., and an estimated 60 million worldwide. Pearl Jam has outlasted many of its contemporaries from the alternative rock breakthrough of the early 1990s, and is considered one of the most influential bands of the decade.

My sun, moon, and star:
Now, I know that we are meant to be... I have also an inner desire to play the drums. Unfortunately, I can't join your band since it's an all girls band.
Perhaps, I'll just form an all boys band and we will do a concert together!
