Essence of Taste: "Magnum Ice Cream Bar"

One early morning, I got a call from someone who is always a late riser. Sleepy as I was, I answered my cellphone thinking that the call was emergency in nature. Our conversation went like this:
Caller:  You are a blogger, right? Write about Magnum.
Me     :  Magnum, as in gun? Why would I write about it? (I was thinking of the
.44   Magnum   which I previously used in my shooting practices while
imagining that I was the female version of “Dirty Harry”).
Caller:  Are you not reading the news? Magnum is the newest Selecta Ice Cream.
Everyone wanted to taste it. You should do your blog now.
Me    :  What? At this early morning, you want me to eat ice cream?
Anyway, I promised my caller that I would do it as soon as I can. At the earliest possible time, I embarked on my task to buy Magnum Ice Cream Bar and to have a bite of this new sensation in the market. I went to my favorite grocery store near my residence, but to my dismay it was not available. I was told that it is only available in 7-11 and ministop convenience stores. I rushed to the nearest 7-11, but again it was not available. I went to a nearby ministop, no luck. I was shocked to find out that all their stocks were sold-out. Anyway, after going to three 7-11 and two ministop stores I surrendered.
The following day, I felt lucky that one of my officemates was able to buy the most coveted ice cream. I asked my officemates to help me taste the ice cream bars since there are three flavors. We took turns in biting and licking the bars… tasting all the three variants – Classic, Almond and Chocolate Truffle.
The Verdict
Smooth, fine, soft and creamy
Crunchy coating made of a thick layer of Belgian chocolate
Melt in the mouth not in the hands
Not messy to eat since it doesn’t melt easily, unlike other ice cream bars we used to eat
Thick vanilla flavor filling in a cute stick  with my initial on it (M)
The ice cream bar was good to the last lick, and considering that it is not cheap Php55 per bar (equivalent to more than USD10), you should be obliged to finished it. I think its targeted clientele are middle to high-income groups willing to shell out a little more for an ice cream bar.
